Inside a €34,000,000 Architectural Villa in Marbella’s Most Exclusive Community
Overview
La Zagaleta has long been known as one of Europe’s most private and prestigious enclaves. But even in a neighbourhood defined by extraordinary homes, Villa Enso stands apart. Featured in this episode of The Luxury Home Show, the €34,000,000 estate is a masterclass in grand design, technical innovation, and indulgent living. Matt opens the episode by walking us through the entrance, where tropical palms frame a striking motorized front door. The moment the door glides open, the home’s design intent becomes clear. The entire structure is focused on light, flow, and uninterrupted views.

From the living area, floor to ceiling windows reveal sweeping sightlines across the infinity pool and out to the Mediterranean Sea. These windows are the largest of their kind in Spain, shipped from France at seven point five meters high and twelve meters wide, and they open fully at the touch of a button.
Villa Enso is the result of a five year collaboration led by Architect Pablo Villaroel, whose vision was inspired by the albatross, a bird known for its effortless flight.

Matt explains that the name Enso comes from a term in Buddhism that represents an imperfect circle, which he describes as symbolising “perfection with also the balance of imperfection.” He reflects on the meaning behind it and says, “To achieve the kind of level of success that allows you to build a home like this, the journey probably hasn’t been perfect. But yet you can go through all of those trials and result in something so remarkable like this.”

From above, the home resembles a bird in motion with a central body and two wings extending outward. This sense of natural flow is felt throughout the home as air, light, and movement pass through each level with ease.

The outdoor spaces are just as impressive. A twenty meter Indonesian stone pool, a series of cabanas, a jacuzzi, expansive terraces, and panoramic viewpoints create a dream setting for entertaining.

Four glass skylights embedded in the outdoor pool illuminate the indoor pool below, allowing natural light to cascade down into the spa level. From sunrise to sunset, the estate enjoys a southwest orientation with world class views of the mountains and the Mediterranean.

Beyond its beauty, Villa Enso delivers a lifestyle tailored for collectors and enthusiasts. The lower level is more than a garage. It is a private automotive museum.
The collection includes historic Ferrari engines, racing parts, restored classics, original suits and wings from legendary drivers, and a centerpiece Formula 1 car that commands the room. Every piece is thoughtfully displayed beneath soaring ceilings and gallery style lighting.

The rest of the basement rivals a luxury hotel. It features a full commercial bar, a gym, a snow room, treatment facilities, a hair salon, a sauna, an indoor swimming pool, and a home cinema. The sound design and lighting throughout the property create atmosphere without distraction. Even the outdoor speakers are discreet yet powerful. No detail has been overlooked. Security systems, motorized doors, Savant home controls, and hidden technical features keep the experience seamless and sophisticated.

Despite its scale, Villa Enso maintains comfort and warmth. Cozy lounges balance the soaring open areas. Terraces float gently off the interior spaces. Every room connects to nature through oversized windows or outdoor retreats. The home’s proportions are majestic, yet never overwhelming.
